Digital Scrapbooking

I was longing to try this digital scrapbooking . It is easier than traditional hand made scrapbooking. Digital scrapbooking, is the current form of preserving memories in a digital format.With adding few colourful buttons,ribbons, embellishments to the page. photographs that you have taken with your digital camera, is brought on to your computer,edited with the use of software (such as Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro, etc.). You can create various layout just like the one created with the traditional way with paper and scissors. Various digital scrapbooking kits are available or you can download it. It is a lot of fun, and you have even more control over your layouts than you do scrapbooking the traditional way with paper. I just tried it with photoshop cs-5

This is the step one I have given some texture to the background( there are numerous textures ranging from burlap,canvas, sandstone, bricks etc)

Frames are drawn and embossed effect is added to it

These digital papers can be downloaded from the net. I just tweaked and changed the color of the paper to suit my paper background. Once your layouts are created, you can print your digital scrapbooking layouts onto photo paper with your photo printer, send them to a photo processer to print, or even have them printed in bound books. You can also email your layouts to anyone and post them in galleries. You don't have to worry about ruining your photos or your supplies and there isn't a mess to clean up when you are through!
