Hi friends, It is pongal in Tamil Nadu and Sankranthi in Karnataka.It is a custom to distriute til (sesame seeds) mixed with jaggery and groundnuts and dry coconut along with sugarcane and sugar candy. I have tried a tray with banana leaf.
