Recycled Magazines Plant holder

Hello, After almost a month I am posting .I have been  collecting old magazines for a long time hoping to do something out of it .That "something " never turned to my satisfaction. I  tried doing envelopes, decoupage,but nothing  seemed attractive. Meanwhile piled magazines kept threatening me leaving many sleepless guilt hours .One fine day I started rolling  magazines kept on rolling  till I could  churn  something useful for the house. My "african violets' seemed contented and started blooming acknowledging my effors.

      Since the paper's size is small I had to cover   this   laundry drum by two rows.

To hide the joint between the two rows , Old saree border is pasted around the drum

Top lid  portion of the drum. is  Decoupaged  and  a string is attached to open the box.
A major portion of the magazine got over for this project.But I still have other junks like saree border,old blouse bits,  Hope to try something soon .Please wish me luck  and give your suggestions friends.
