RECYCLED ARATHI TRAY

I was so thrilled to see these types of arathi plates in the market It   was very attractive  and as usual I wanted to try with left over card board and blouse pieces which are all scattered here and there in my junk yard!!!  .But I always put off due to other commitments mainly laziness but this time .I vowed to  create immediately on returning and to use only with the items, which is lying with me for years.
Though all the items are readily  available.I took a more zig zag route to finish this project.I pasted a red blouse piece to the base( which is a birthday  cake  Hard board base)stenciled with gold paint for the background, for the rim I used stryofoam tube  and pasted a cold porcellain flower.which again was not up to  the mark to be used in an arrangement.
These types of arathi plates  can be put to use in
numerous   ways.   Can   also be  given  away as  gifts        during     festival times
But  how many u will gift?
It all depends on the giver and taker's taste, is it not?
One more with philonopsis orchid.Old Cooker gasket is used for the rim.I think justice is made for the gasket and those cardboards which was with me for quite a long time.
hope u like this one
Have a nice day
