Recylcled Bottles

Welcome to my blog,This month I will be sharing some of my recycled bottles. Each bottle is special  and fun to work with.I tried my hand in all the techniques from decoupage to texture work and crackle effect.Do not forget to mention which is your favourite technique.
This is a juice bottle I applied Crackle medium and did decoupage to show case the cracks

It is a colored bottle,I want to retain the color so I did clay work on it

White colored shampoo bottle,I made texture work on it with Plaster of  paris{p.o.p}

Some  decoupage and clay work on it.

This whole lot I did in two days.It all depends on your mind set and time management,If your design is clear the work gets over in no time. But if you have too many options and bottles you get confused and the work drag on  for weeks.Do you agree? what say? comment in the comments section below.

Thankyou for visiting
Have a creative  day!

CLAY FLOWER PAINTING

Hello friends,This month I want to share my clay flower paintings which I tried  with different  style of
window boxes.
Petunia and african violets are the only flowers suitable for window boxes.Making the painting takes a longer time than arranging and creating flowers
This I wanted to make a proper floral arrangement .For the vase I used sponge sheets which comes with fruits I repainted and stuck at the base of the arrangement

This is the star petunias which I feel should have been a bit larger. This is altogether a different approach to the clay flowers which can be framed and preserved under the secured glass frame !!!.
Hope u like this post
Happy crafting
Wish U all a happy Baisakhi !

SAKURA-CHERRY BLOSSOM

Sakura or cherry blossom  is the Unofficial National Flower of Japan.Cherry blossom has got more than
12 varieties,It was a symbol to stroke nationalism during WORLD WAR -2
Japanese believe that it is an annual reminder  of "Time is precious"
The cherry blossom cycle is  seen as a metaphor for life  itself-
A Time to reflect on  one's Achievements and think ahead of future.I too feel the same
that we should reflect on one's achievements

This  sakura tree bomsai  is made with cold porcellain clay.It is  "windswept" style.

These tree branches have wire under the clay making it flexible to move or twist the branches to alter according to our taste.

I  made these for gifting .Cold porcellain is one of the wonderful medium to work with apart from thai clay
it is more flexible doesn't dry for a long time.Perfect for a beginner like me.
hope u like this post.
Thanks for visiting
have a nice day
